East Hampton, NY

Cook, Hall & Hyde, Inc., a leading regional provider of commercial and personal insurance, employee benefits, and risk management services, is currently hosting an art exhibit featuring the works of renowned artists from Long Island’s East End. The “Artists of the Hamptons Exhibition,” produced by Marie Rosso and Diana Plitt, was launched with a special reception held at Cook, Hall & Hyde’s East Hampton office located at 461 Pantigo Road, where the works will be on display through October 27th, 2006. Over 300 attended the exhibition opening, which also included a fine wine tasting courtesy of Jacques Franey’s Domaine Wine & Spirits. Other area businesses that contributed to the reception’s success were the Amagansett IGA, Amagansett Farmers Market, Stuart’s Seafood Market, and C.Whitmore Gardens.

According to Ms. Plitt, “We gathered the art of acclaimed artists from East Hampton, Amagansett, Springs, Wainscott, Sagaponack, Water Mill and Shelter Island, who, like Jackson Pollack and other well-known artists, found the light in this land by the sea inspiring. Thanks to Cook, Hall & Hyde, who is graciously hosting this exhibit, Long Islanders and visitors to the East End can experience this inspiration in the form of masterful paintings, prints, photography and sculptures.”

“Cook, Hall & Hyde has a long history of supporting the local art community and thought an exhibition in our office was a natural extension of that legacy,” stated Mr. Tim Brenneman, Executive Vice President at Cook, Hall & Hyde. “Our employees and customers are enjoying the display and we encourage everyone to come out and view the artwork. We hope to be able to do this again in the future,” he added.
