Cook, Hall & Hyde, Inc. (Cook, Hall & Hyde, Inc., Bethpage, NY; Plainview, NY; East Hampton, NY and Fair Lawn, NJ), a leading provider of commercial and personal insurance, employee benefits, and risk advisory services, recently sponsored a Senior Executive Reception on the "State-of-the-Art in Business Insurance." The event, which was held at the Highlawn Pavilion in West Orange, New Jersey, featured a presentation by Thomas F. Motamed, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Chubb Corporation. Mr. Motamed provided an insurance market overview and highlighted key areas of concern for today's businesses. Chief among them was the importance of having adequate Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Directors and Officers (D&O) and Errors and Omissions (E&O) coverage, particularly in light of the heightened post Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory climate and related exposures.
The Cook, Hall & Hyde, Inc. CEO/CFO Summit was attended
by approximately 40 senior executives from area businesses. In addition to
the education component of the program, there was a performance by the New
Jersey Symphony and a special treat for true music aficionados - the
opportunity to get a close-up look at Golden Age Stradivarius instruments.
